Bouldering

We went to a park today....Pioneer Park....it had lots of petrified sand dunes and boulders everywhere.
It is great place for climbing boulders and letting the kids explore.

It's even a great place for silly husbands.

We found this great 'crack' that lots of people were exploring that went under the petrified sand dunes for quite a long ways.  There was one part that I was able to see them and snap a picture of them from up above....cause I hung out up above with Baby Ponyo.

We spent pretty much the whole day there playing and exploring and having fun together.

I am grateful that my cell phone is a camera phone so I could capture these moments throughout the day.

Thanksgiving 2013

Yesterday we drove to my In-laws place down in Southern Utah to spend Thanksgiving break.

It was so nice to spend the morning coloring and drawing and cooking with my kids and hubby.

Then I had my kids jump in the tub right before we ate.....not her semi-wet, uncombed hair lol!

It made me laugh that Little A insisted on sitting at the head of the table.  We're pretty laid back about things so we didn't mind one bit.

After our 'feast' we went out for a nice walk before we had pie.

 

I feel so blessed and thankful to have a husband who loves me unconditionally, kids who make me so happy, and for the trials I have gone through that have made me a better me.

Birthday Buddies

Today is my mom's and Little A's birthday!!!

It is so fun that they share the same birthday! =)

 

I am grateful that I have both these wonderful girls in my life.  =)

Trick or Treat!

Woohoo!!!  It's Halloween!!! 

Most of the costumes the kids used this year were one that I made in the past so it was nice to not have to fret about making them.  And mine was basically just some face paint....super easy! 

AND my hubby Actually made his all on his own.  Let me say that again ALL on his OWN.  All I did was grab some gold chains for him to wear.  He rocks!

 The funny thing is that as he was creating his mask (which was a nylon) he had it on over his head and was trying to hot glue the beard and hair on it while he was wearing it!  He learned the hard way that that's not such a good idea lol!

Time to Gut it

I am grateful that my hubby was able to be part of our pumpkin carving day this year.

Pumpkin Picking

Me, my mom, hubby, and kids all piled into the car to go to our annual Pumpkin Picking Party.

Well.....its not really a party just a tradition to take a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin.

 

 

 

I am thankful for what a nice warm day it was.  Perfect temps for picking out a pumpkin.

What a Nut!

My Little A received a pumpkin at school the other day.  She practically takes it every where with her.

And she asks me to babysit it while she's at school.

I got scolded from her once because I forgot to get the pumpkin out of its bed and ready for the day.

 I am grateful for her personality.  Brings many smiles to my face.

Turkey Time!

I am grateful that all went well with doing my first Thanksgiving ever at my house....

.....and that my mom and niece could be there to share the day with us!  Love you guys!

Lots and Lots of work

My backyard is such a mess.

But we all set to work and did some work on it.

After all, the weather was too nice to stay indoors today.

I am thankful for even the smallest of helping hands.

So much fun for the little one.

I am grateful for fun fall days.

Carving time!

I am so grateful that the older 2 were able to do most of the carving by themselves.  It made it SO much easier at trying to carve 3 pumpkins.

Thanksgiving in AZ!

What a totally awesome day! =)

First we started out the day with a Gobble Wobble fun run and then we went and finished cooking the food. And then it was time to chow down!

I am grateful that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my side of the family this year. I think the last time was 10 years ago.

Lovin it

I am just loving this warm fall weather!

And today lots of the neighborhood kids decided to enjoy it too....

while playing in our leaf pile! (Yes they had our permission to jump and play in the big 'ol pile)

They tried burring each other....

...riding their bikes through it...

...and just tossing them!

I am grateful that I got to jump in the pile too! It was actually my first time.
