I can't believe that my little baby is 3 years old today!

I am thankful for that little spitfire and her fun loving little red head.

Newest Member

I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of my family.

Jay (well it was Jade (cause the Animal Shelter told us it was a girl)until the vet informed us that she was a he)

 

It was my husband's idea to give Little A a kitten for her birthday.  I really didn't want another cat but my hubby very rarely has an opinion about what to get the kids for birthdays or holidays and that was what he thought we should get her.

So I took my Baby Ponyo with me to the animals shelter and we had lots of fun looking at all the cats in the 'Cat Room.'  There were tons just wondering around and begging for attention from us.  I felt bad having to choose only one from among them all.

This little guy, this fluff ball was the lucky one that got to leave the shelter that day.

We surprised Little A with it on the morning of her birthday.  She was in such disbelief that we had actually gotten her her very own kitten.

I am grateful for great ideas from my hubby.

Birthday Buddies

Today is my mom's and Little A's birthday!!!

It is so fun that they share the same birthday! =)

 

I am grateful that I have both these wonderful girls in my life.  =)

Our Baby Root Beer is turning 14!  It is a crazy thought for me.

She should still be the little one running around the house, doing silly things like sitting in pots and pans.... sigh.  

But she is growing into an amazing young lady and I am so proud of her and the choices she makes.

Since it is an even year for her she gets to have a party.  She asked if we could all go to Crystal Hot Springs.

So we fed everyone then piled into our 2 cars and made the 45-60 minute drive there with lots of laughter in the car.

 

 

Then after wards we headed back to our house for cake, ice cream, and presents.

 

 

 I am so very grateful for everything about this amazing girl of mine.

It's the 4th!!!

Being the 4th we got to celebrate our Nation and my Hubby's birthday!

First up......a parade that Baby Root Beer was in.  She played the cymbals for the parade.

Then later in the day we headed to my in-laws house for a 4th of July BBQ swim party.

I am thankful for the freedom that I have......and for my cute hubby!

I can't believe that this little lady is 10 years old!!!

We helped her celebrate by having friends and family over for a swim party at her Nana and Papa's house.

Time goes by too fast! And I am grateful that I get to be her mom.

Look Who's 2!!!

Two years ago, after a pregnancy that was way different from the other 3 and a delivery that threw me for a loop.....a breeched baby, trying an inversion, and then having a c-section, this little red head came into our lives (I thought the doctor was seeing things when he told me she had red hair after taking her out).

She is such a joy to our whole family.....her sisters just seem to eat her up.

So be prepared for a Pipes overload as I share these pic's from her 2nd birthday.

I am grateful for my cheeto dusted mouthed 2 year old.

Look who had a birthday!

Little A's birthday party was today. 

She wanted a My Little Pony Party.

I wasn't too excited about the theme that she chose, but did my best to please her...... and me.

In all actuality there weren't any pony decorations up.

But a bunch of the activities were pony related and the girls got pony favors to dress up in (that was actually my husband's idea).

All the activities were fairly simple and didn't require a lot on my part.

There were Pony coloring/painting pages to decorate.

Rainbow Dash sugar art to make.

Pizza to eat.

Twister to play

We even watched a little bit of a My Little Pony Episode (the girls wanted to see the pony's that they were dressed up as)

Then there was cake and ice-cream

and presents to open.

I am grateful that the kids all seemed to have a fun time.

Some mom's even told me that their kids didn't take off their pony stuff until they went to bed that night and then insisted on wearing it again in the morning. lol!

I love kids. =)

Today is a special little girls 6th birthday!

I can't believe that it has been that long since this little joy joined our family.

I am very grateful for her and her fun personality.

I have a TEENAGER now!!!!

A day of celebrating my hubby's birthday....

...taking photos of just about all of my Mother In laws Grandkids....

..... and spending the rest of the day swimming and celebrating the 4th of July with family.

Birthday Girl

E has been SO excited for her birthday.  We don't have parties every year but we do let them choose to do something fun on the year-off.  She wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese.  After wards she wanted to help bake and decorate her cake.

We came across these fun frosting creations where you can choose from a variety of flavors and add them to plain frosting. She chose Cotton Candy flavor.

Then she asked if we could go swimming at her Nana and Papa's pool.

Ooooooh!   My little girl is growing up too fast!!!!

I feel grateful and very blessed to have her in my life.
