Woohoo!

oh bother.

For the past couple of days this could be seen in front of my house. I am grateful that my driveway was not part of the closed road.

Wasn't like that when I was little

Wow, I never knew the habitat for sea monkey's could be so fun looking. We haven't added the sea monkey eggs yet, but when they hatch they are going to enjoy a nice life at the beach.
I am thankful for these new teeny tiny additions to our family.

And a cute one at that!

As soon as we decided on moving our bedroom downstairs, I have been on the lookout for a portable nightlight. I kept picturing one of the kids falling down those dangerously steep stairs of ours as they were trying to find me in the night. Well, I found one at Target.....and I thought that it was too cute to pass up.

I am grateful for things that help me sleep better.

Soggy
With all the snow melting rather quickly today, everything is soggy outside. And the girls are starting to fight like crazy....this is only 1 week of no school....I am kind of scared of what summer will be like.

I am grateful how children always seem to be so proud of whatever they make no matter how many mistakes are in/on it. I need to follow their example and be proud of me and what I can do....even if it's not perfect.

Flash from the past

I was at Target when I came across this. I could not believe my eyes! I had this same doll when I was little. She was my all time favorite Barbie and I still have her dress (which my kids play with now). It is not seeing this doll that blows my mind because almost everything I had when I was little is making a come back. But the fact that it was $45 dollars is what I thought was crazy. 45 Dollars?! Sheesh.
I am grateful for childhood memories.

And I would 'dance' 500 miles....

My sister gave me these shoes when my oldest was 2 or 3. I know her daughter wore them and one of her nieces wore them and now they are on my third child getting some use out of them.
I am grateful for hand-me-downs.

Do you think they were laughing when they made these?

I am sorry to say, but when I saw these it took me a minutes to figure out exactly what they were other than something that looked like it belonged in the toilet....... maybe it's just me, but they don't look very appetizing. And I am NOT going to mention where these were found. All I have to say is the baker that made these needs to rethink what a baseball bat should look like.
I am thankful that my cell phone has a camera in it.
