So my Sister in Law and I decided to try and take some photos of each others families.....it was a lot of fun and I am so very thankful for my fun family.

Good byes are hard, but I am so very thankful that I have family close by.

It's the 4th!!!

Being the 4th we got to celebrate our Nation and my Hubby's birthday!

First up......a parade that Baby Root Beer was in.  She played the cymbals for the parade.

Then later in the day we headed to my in-laws house for a 4th of July BBQ swim party.

I am thankful for the freedom that I have......and for my cute hubby!

A Belated May Day Party

My Mother-in-law had a cute little May Day party for all the girls today.

I am grateful for flowers, cookies, tea parties, and laughter.

Easter Day

I am grateful that I could spend the day with family.

Merry was awesome and planned some Minute to Win it games!  They were tons of fun!

Everybody (even Piper) stayed awake to greet the new year!

I am thankful for how wonderful 2012 had been to my family.  For all the ups and downs and for all the things that I have learned.

Sidewalk Paint

My SIL invited us over to do some sidewalk painting.

We thought the little ones would get really messy....ok we were hoping that they would get messy. lol!

But this was about the extent of it.

Away for the weekend

We decided to go to St. George for the weekend to spend a few more days with my hubbys brother and his kids while they are in town.

So it was a day of hanging out....

....playing with cousins....

......digging in the red sand....

....hiking....

.....and trying to stay cool.  =)

I am grateful for ice water.

Relaxing

After a nice relaxing morning we celebrated my cute little niece's birthday!!!

And here's my brother still trying to win this little one over.



I am thankful for God's creations.

A weekend get away.

Yesterday we drove up to the cabin to spend the weekend with my brother and his family.

We have been up here numerous times and this was the first time that we had ever been to this beautiful river (that was only like 5-10 minutes away).

The kids loved exploring along the shore and having a picnic on a little 'island' they found.





This little one was none too happy when she got drenched from slipping and falling into the freezing cold water.

My brother has been working hard at getting this little one to like him.  =)
She won't make eye contact with him and she usually holds very still when he's near her.....kinda like she's thinking  'maybe if I don't move he can't see me.'  lol!

I am thankful for places we can go to 'escape' from our every day life.
