I don't know why I started to call them the chick-a-doos, but I do. And do today my oldest thought it was the funniest thing when she got one of them to jump up to get a treat out of her hand. It was a rather silly thing to see!
I am thankful that I live in a city that lets me have things like chickens and that my kids can get a real feel for where our food comes from.
