Day 243

.

.

The first day of September, huh? Wow, this year just seems to be cruising by. Weston had to work today, Labor day, so the girls and I had to try to entertain ourselves. We ran some errand and as we were out we came across these paper dolls that were on sale for 99 cents, so we got a couple of them. The cool thing is that you are supposed to design the clothes and make them for the dolls. The girls had a lot of fun telling me how they wanted the clothes to look for their doll. I drew it and cut it out and then they colored and decorated them. It was fun to see how each of the dresses differed. I am thankful for individuality.

My Mother would make me paper doll when I was little. I spent hours and days making cloths for them. I just loved paper dolls!

Awesome! It was my favorite thing at my Grandma's and with my cousins to do paper dolls. I just saw some magnet ones in a mag over the weekend. Hmmmmm...

Are they the "Project Runway" dolls? If so, I bought the same exact dolls last week for my girls for 99 cents. Well, I just say I bought them for my girls. At ages 15 and 12 they really aren't interested. The dolls are for me.
