Dribble dribble

Soccer season is upon us.  Little A is the only one playing this year.  Baby RB is too old to play on the city team now.  =(  And E wanted to try out ballet/tap.

Poor little A.  She went out on her very first game a couple weeks ago all gung-ho about it and was playing SO hard and was on top of that ball almost the whole time.

And then....

And then she tripped in a hole and face planted it.  She biffed it HARD.  She had grass wedged between all her front teeth and she was spitting out a lot of dirt.

You can guess after that she wasn't quite so willing to be in the middle of the action.

Today, a couple weeks later, she got elbowed in the face by a team mate and got a bloody nose.

It took a lot of cajoling after that to even get her to step back onto the field.
Poor girl.

Hopefully it won't scar her for life.  ;)

I am grateful for active kids.
