At least that is what it felt like....well, more like a tropical storm...well, ok, it probably didn't even hit that category. The winds were around 40 miles per hour with gust up to 70. We lost shingles on the roof. The patio table got broke. Numerous pots were broke into pieces. And branches and leaves were everywhere.
I am grateful that amidst all the crazy wind I was able to get the girls out to fly some very cheap and very smiple made-in-a-minute kites.

I meant the girls. The others, not so great. Sorry you had to have that damage. :(
Wow, that must have been scary to have everything blowing around like that. Glad you could make the most of it, though, and have some fun. Love those kites!
BTW, those were tropical storm strength winds that you had. How long did the wind last?

Sorry you had wind damage, glad it was minor. Looks like Acadia was having fun, Ella looks like she's having to fight to hang on to her kite. Ashlyn looks cold.
