It surprises me how grown up she is getting. She is starting to prefer to hang out with the adults instead of playing with the younger kids. And she has asked if she can start babysitting her sisters to get some experience before she takes on other people's children. She asks to cook dinner. To sew. To crochet. To garden. And I am enjoying every minute of it.
I am grateful and felt honored when she mentioned that she wanted to be just like me.
