Step Right up!

I must have done it right cause Ashlyn was very happy with how her party turned out. There were games.

This is kinda how it went....as the guests show up they decorate a goodie sack, then they played around the yard until everyone was there. Then (with the help of some awesome family members) the games began. There were 'booths' (sheets hung up) that the kids went to and played and got tickets at. Then they could turn in their tickets for stuff at the prize table. The people who helped were awesome. They were a lot like the people who run carnival booths who shout things at the people passing by to try and coax them into playing their game. It was funny. And they seemed to be enjoying it too. Then we had cake and icecream and then opened presents. No pinata this year because there was a prize table. And it was great because I pretty much already had everything needed for the games at my house so I didn't need to spend more money.

Oh and the kids even wanted turns running the booths and, since it was so hot out this year) we were more than happy to let them have a go at it while we sat in the shade for a bit.

And I just had to post this picture.....maybe it runs in their family, but I think that the son out-did the father.

I am SO SO SO grateful for those who were willing to help out!

Looks like a great party, how could they not have fun! The cake turned out great! Love the picture of two of my boys. Scott is such a clown. Don't think he's ever going to grow up.

Sorry to take another comment spot, but I have a question. Where are the circus peanuts?

Don't worry, we had circus peanuts.....wouldn't be a circus party without those.
