Day 315

I was becoming depressed when I saw that all of the leaves on all the trees in the backyard were on the ground now....and the day being so dark and dreary and rainy didn't help my mood or stop me from thinking about the super short sunlight we will get during the day and the super cold winter days to come. Then I spoted a touch of color. My mums were now blooming. I noticed the ones in my front yard were blooming too.....I think it is kind of late for them, but it sure lifted my spirits and made me think of the beauty of the spring to come.

I am grateful for this little 'ray of sunshine.'
