DAY 200

There has been an article in the June Ensign that I have been wanting to read, but keep putting off.....afraid that it would be too emotional for me. I finally sat down and read it today. It is called 'The Spiritual Component of Healing.' I still have a few unanswered questions about everything that happened and about all of the blessings that my dad recieved when he was sick. But, this part of the article touched me: "But the peace, rest, and relief of suffering so devoutly wished for by those whose burdens seem ofttimes unbearable may come not from healing in a medical sense but from the gift of added strength, understanding, patience, and compassion, which enable sufferers to carry their burdens. Like Alma and his brethren, they may then “bear up their burdens with ease” and “submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord” (Mosiah 24:15)."

I am grateful for the leaders of our church and for the messages that they share with us.
