Our city has lots of hiking trails and today we explored a new one. It was a lot of fun. Part of the trail goes right past the zoo to the amusment park here and we got to see a baby Elk and some baby buffalo. The trail was nice and shaded most of the way and one part of it looked like it was snowing! Tons of white fluffy seeds were falling from the trees and the ground was covered with them! It was pretty to see but, man, did it cause my allergies to go haywire! I also had to put my sun glasses on because they kept falling into my eyes! Crazy! But the kids loved playing in them.
I am grateful that my kids love to go hiking as much as I do.
