I am grateful this cup did the trick. I have been trying and trying to wean my youngest off of a sippy cup for quite a long time. I can't just let her cry it out because crying always leads to throwing-up for her. So when I saw this cup I asked her if she wanted it and she said yes. Then I said when we get home we'll get rid of all your sippy cups and then you can have this big girl cup. She seemed to be all for the idea. So when we got home she put all her sippy's in a bag and I put the bag somewhere where she would never find it. Her first night I reminded her about her big girl cup. She asked for it to be on her nightstand with water in it. Before I went to sleep, I checked on her and found the cup still on the nightstand and it still looked full. Hurray!

I have a friend who was trying to wean a little one from a paci. They planted them in the garden and lollipops grew from them!
