With the kids out for the summer, I thought that I should find my 'I'm bored' jar and put it to good use. I looked everywhere and could not find it so I made a new (and cute) one. When I set it out my oldest gave me a great idea. She said 'Is that a chore jar?' I thought she was a genius and I just may have to make another jar now.
I am grateful for canning jars. There is just something about them that draws me to 'em.

We have our Summer Jar out, too. (That's what I call our boredom jar). Your's is way cuter than mine, though.
When I saw one a blog last week, I had a DUH moment! I never thought of using paper on the lids (always used material) and started cutting cute paper circles right away for my jams, etc. I love canning jars, too! Especially blue ones.
I think today I will make a summer jar. and put pound flowers in it.
