In memory...

Photobucket

With tomorrow being Memorial Day we decided to visit all of our family, that has passed away, after church (and after our talks) today. We have made it a tradition to leave flowers on all 8 of their graves and to talk about some things that we remember about each of them. We started with the farthest one away from our house first....which happened to be my dad and grandma & grandpa. I had such a hard time with these ones and was in tears.

I am thankful that I have the support and love from my husband when my emotions get the best of me. And I am thankful for all those who have served to protect our country and those that still do.

We were in tears when we went the last time. Wish we could have gone with you. I missed putting a flag on your dad's.
