Shoes are very confining, especially when you're little. I use to take them off all the time, even in church. Which the mission president reminded me of one Sunday years later.
We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues.

She looks so sad! What happened?
I like your new header.
What a sad little face.
She got a splinter in her foot.....if only I could keep her shoes on her.

So, so sad! It makes me want to scoop her up and hold her tight.
Oh! Sad! I am smiling thinking of you taking this picture, though.
She needed a Grandma hug! Wish I had been there to give her one.
