They are like these little light weight ball things that are wrapped in a type of paper that reminds me of corn husks and then the leaves on top are real leaves just coated with modge podge or something to help keep them stiffer. Your center piece sounds very cute! I was sad when I dropped my indian corn yesterday and pieces went flying everywhere. =(
Is there some way to preserve corn so that the kernels don't start falling off? I've had this Indian corn for a long time and I'd like to keep it intact since my dad's been gone for more than 12 years and I've had this corn for at least 15 years or more.
We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues.

Oooo, I like those!
What are they made out of? Paper? Ceramic?
I bought some colored gourds to put in a basket with Little Grandpa's miniature Indian corn for a fall centerpiece.
