Day 231

We have still been getting rain from some of the bands from Fay today. But we all needed to get out and so we went to the Turtle museum (a place where they take injured sea turtles and try to rehabilitate them and then release them). Wow! It was totally redone.... new bigger building and in a new spot and with a little play area. It was fun to walk around and visit the museum. We even got to see a sea turtle get some shots. But all the turtles in the tanks were still inside somewhere were they could be safe from the storm. But it was still fun. We then headed over to Coral Cove to go collect some shells. It rained on us, but we still went on looking for the perfect shell. One sad thing that we saw was a ton of turtle eggs all over the beach. We think that the storm and surf must have uncovered a nest. It was a fun day.

I am thankful for nice warm rain showers.
