Day 204

What an eventful day...with the mourning of our last mouse dieing and the celebrating of Pioneer Day. It started out slow, which is always nice. But then later in the day, when we had some family over, we discovered that poor little Princess had passed away. And so we had a short funeral and burried her next to her buddy Cinderella. This time it wasn't as emotional as last time for the girls. And then it was on to getting ready for a bbq and pool party at our house. It was a lot of fun and has been a while since we have had a get together here. The cousins had a great time playing and the adults had a great time chatting while we ate and the kids played in the water. And then we lit a few fireworks (it was a sad sight ) and watched Lagoons fireworks from our front yard.....well what we could see over the neighbors house. All in all it was a fun day and I am grateful for days like this.

Sorry about the mouse. Our hamster died last month. Even though the boys and I cried I was glad that I don't have to worry about it anymore!

It would be so nice to get together with family and BBQ, swim and enjoy each others company. I'm glad you are close to family.

Carrie,
I want you to know that you warm my heart. I don't know what we would do without you. You are so amazing.
We had so much fun hanging out at your house. The kid's love being with their cousins so much. I am grateful that we can be close to each other.
