Talk about scaring me! One of Ashlyn friends comes running over to our house to tell me that Ashyn has been stung by a bee. And normally this would not be a big deal except for the fact that her dad is allergic and her Nana is very allergic and Ashyn has never been stung before so we don't know if she is allergic, too. So out comes all the medicine....allergy medicine, pain medicine, bandaids, ice packs, etc. And we sit and watch and wait to see if anything unusual happens. Nothing. I am thankful that it turns out that it was a wasp that stung her (and her friend)....but at the same time I wish I knew if she was allergic to those darn bees.

I think I would have reacted the same way! But if she does get stung, give her Benadryl not Tylenol. Benadryl is for allergies and can help if she has a reaction to a bee sting.
The tylenol was for the pain....I gave her a generic allergy medicine since I didn't have regular benadryl. Hoping it would do the same thing as the real thing.
I'm glad she didn't have a reaction. Generic is just as good. I gave it to Willie for most of his life. :) I think you can have her tested for it.
Cool picture.
That's how I react for any sort of scrape bump or scratch. Its just the mothering side of us. But the fact that you don't know if she is allergic or not would scare the crap outta anybody. I'm glad she's alright
