Day 97

Last spring, summer, and fall I had collected seeds from different plants in my yard and I also saved the trays and pony pack containers from the flowers I had planted last year. And today I finished getting all of the seeds planted (I started last week and just kept putting off finishing up and they probably should have been started a month ago). And if I get at least 1 plant from each pony-pack then I will have at least 17 plants to plant......and a couple of them have already sprouted! I am so excited! Oh, and I am finally caught up with my days on here! Wahoo! =)

I like the angle too. Good for you. I love starting them early. If we had a place to do it, I would have started a month ago. Do you know to harden them off before you plant them?

No, I'm not quite sure how, but I know it needs to be done....any pointers?

Once it's warmer, put them in a shady spot and gradually introduce them to the sun so they don't fry. We have little 'caps' that we put over the seeds in the garden when we plant them, that are like mini-green houses. I'll have to see where Carl got them. We've used them for 6 springs. I usually fry them if I don't use the caps. You're giving me the FEVAH!!!
