While doing yard work I noticed a few quail in my yard today and tried to get close enough to get a good picture. Not much luck, but atleast this little guy stayed put long enough for me to snap this picture of him.
We use to see them all the time before they put the holding pond behind the house. There has been a pair of Mottled Ducks 'resting' up against the fence for the last couple of days.
Oh... I love quail! I remember a family of them would run around the neighborhood when we were in Provo. I loved to see the little ones following their mother around.
We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues.

That is so cool, Clammy!
Lucky! Carl spotted some too, but I haven't seen them. How did you get this close?!
