Day 106

Horrible, horrible, horrible...that is all I can say to describe this morning. I told my friend that I would watch her 2 kids while she was at the dr's. Well, this picture shows just the start of it. Little Naomi was sad from the start and wouldn't calm down no matter what I tried. Which made Acadia cry. After crying for about 45 minutes Naomi's stomach was so upset that she lost all of it's contents on me and herself and the floor. Well, I sat her down and tried to figure out what I should clean up first... mean while she is still crying. So I ask Ella to help me by getting some towels for me. Ella seemed confused so I opted to go get them myself. And in the process of opening the closet door to get the towels, Ella and the door collide and Ella is on the ground screaming and I am too dirty to comfort her in anyway except verbally (she ended pretty beat up from the collision and has a swollen eye brow and a gash in her cheek). So I throw the towels on the mess on the ground and set Naomi on one of the towels and manage to change her clothes and then I go change my clothes and I then tell all the kids to go outside. Naomi calms down a little bit and isn't constantly crying while we are out there. But after about 20 minutes everyone is ready to go back in. Naomi and Acadia are worn out from crying and I am trying to get Naomi to go to sleep and she throws up on me again. Not quite as messy this time, but we both need a change of clothes again. By the end I had been holding her for nearly 2 hours and she is still upset and to top it all off, she manages to spew on me one last time before her mom comes to pick them up. But after they left I managed to clean and sanitize everything and our day got back to normal...we even got to have lunch with Weston. All I hope is that all of the throw up is from crying too much and not the flu!

I want to know where the mom was that you couldn't have her come get baby after first vomit?

That was such a hard morning, I am so sorry for you.

She was at the dr.'s and doesn't have a cell phone and I had no idea what dr she was at.

I am impressed you thought to take this picture! :/ Yuck. Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad morning!

Did you eat any lunch?

I actually took it right at the beginning when I thought that it was cute that they were making each other cry.

And yes, I made myself eat something. I shared a meal with Weston, but I made him loose his appetite when I told him about my morning.

I am sorry! I know how the vomit days go. But this sounded extra fun!
I hope she wasn't sick either.
