I wish I could Run Run Run!

Baby Rootbeer had a track meet today......let just say she was in tears.
Her stomach problems are now interfering with her sports.  She felt SO sick and could barely run.

I am grateful for her team mates that willingly stepped up and took her place in her remaining events.

A great way to end the day?

 photo 2013_03_31d_zps5eb97f2f.jpg

My view at the moment. Dropped my niece off at her BYU apartment.....helped her carry luggage and boxes in....chatted for maybe 10 minutes....went back to get in the car and.....it was gone. Turns out it was towed in the 15 minutes that we took to drop her off.
Left my mom at my nieces since it was more than a 2 mile walk to get the car back, but took my oldest with me even though she had an injured ankle (she wouldn't let me walk alone in the dark...love that girl).

Sucky but I am very grateful that we got the car back and made it home safely.

Happy Easter!

Your opinion please

For those who know me I am really really really undecisive. Sometimes it drives my hubby crazy....and it doesn't help that he can be undecisive too. =)

So here I am. Looking at the fabric I bought everyday. And I can't decide on how to make the baby's blanket. I have browsed around to get some ideas and here are my favorites. So PLEASE let me know which one you like best. Or put the order of which you like them. Just remember that my fabric is different. You can scroll down the page for a refresher of what it looks like.

So. Here is number 1. And I found it at Moda Bake Shop.
oh you can click on the pics to make them bigger.

Number 2. Also found at Moda Bake Shop.

And here is 3.

Found at Land Of Nod. You'll probably need to click on the pick to see it bigger.

And number 4 is a regular block quilt.

Never ending

Photobucket

Getting the house ready to put up for sale doesn't help with all the daily things that I need to do. Thankfully this mess was contained to one room.

Dash it all!

Photobucket

So, as my luck would have it, I am really clumsy with this pregnancy. About a week ago I dropped my camera and it broke my lens....my all time favorite lens. I couldn't even look at it after it hit the ground. My hubby came over to me and picked it up and put it back together. He said that he didn't know how well it would hold since it looked like there were 2 very small pieces that broke off (and we couldn't find them). It worked great for the first few days. Then I noticed that sometimes it seemed to not focus. And today it wouldn't focus at all. ='( This is the best I could get it to do....just kind of a hazy picture.

Lens' aren't cheap, but I am grateful that my favorite one is one of the least expensive ones out there.

Grrrrrr.

Photobucket

So this is what happens when I procrastinate something.....it goes wrong. And that is exactly what happened with a craft that I was supposed to have done by now. So, I need to hurry and find something else to throw together.

I am grateful that I have an internet connection so I can search for some more ideas.

Curse that toilet!

Photobucket

Ok. So a few weeks ago we moved our bedroom down stairs even though the entire bathroom is not finished.....some baseboards and mainly the shower.

When we started work down there, we had to cut the concrete and move the toilet drain. We ended up accidently cutting the sink pipe (because it wasn't put in deep enough). So that lead to us having to call a plumber to come in and repair that in addition to piping the new toilet drain, the shower heads, and the sink drains/water access. We also had to have roto-rooter come and clean out the pipes because the drain for the soon-to-be shower backed up some how when I ran the disposal from the kitchen. So when we finally got the bathroom finished enough to put in the toilet we were bummed when, after a couple uses, it seemed to be clogging. ggggggrrrrr.

So we plunged it and it ran smoothly for a while. And then today, at about 10pm, it cloggs again. So my hubby starts to plunge it and, as he plunging it, water and stuff start coming out of the shower drain. Lets just say that he was not a happy camper. Water was flying everywhere with how hard he was plunging the toilet and then he would go and stand in the shower and start plunging there too. I walked in and gagged from what I smelled and from seeing him standing in the unfinished shower barefoot in all that gross sewer water! So finally he gives up and decides that a simple plunger is not going to fix the problem. So I had him sterlize his feet, opened the window, closed the bathroom door, and made both of us sleep upstairs on the couches. The smell was unbearable.....and I think I remember reading somewhere that sewer gas can be fatal so I wasn't taking a chance.

I am thankful that we were able to schedule an appointment with roto-rooter to come, again, the next morning.
