So I saw this idea that I thought was great on Holidash. I don't have the time or energy right now to make them quite as neat as she did. So I just took her idea and applied it to the kids already-existing trick or treat bags.
I sewed 5 little pockets on each side of the bag. Then I cut the bags lining right above the mini-pockets.
So come Halloween night, we will slip glow sticks (that we got from the dollar store) into each pocket to make the kids more visible on the dark streets at night. Be sure to check out the website to see the fun way she did hers. I don't have a picture of them all glowing...I'm saving the glow sticks for trick or treating.
I am thankful for ways to that will help to keep my kids safe.

Are your glow sticks slim? Wouldn't they be cute in a tutu? haha :)
I love your bags! Awesome twist on her idea!
